The Union KC Junior Player Academy allows for the Union KC player pathway to extend and work closely with 7v7 and 9v9 players looking to grow their technical and tactical base.
Academy training is supplemental training outside of your team environment and is open to any 7v7 and 9v9 player regardless of club affiliation.
However, this FALL we will be grouping players prior to sessions so that they train with players of similar abilities and attitude. We will make changes if necessary during the Academy to ensure players are in the best environment for their current level and development
Players will enhance their technical skill base with the goal of creating confidence on the ball and technical application in a game-like setting.
We will be focusing on 4 main topics:
1) Ball Mastery
2) 1v1 Attacking and Defending
3) Shooting and Moving off of Ball to get open
4) Possession and Decision Making
